Jeff Horing

Jeff Horing co-founded Insight Venture Partners in 1995, where he is currently a Managing Director. During this time, they have become the leading private equity firm. Their focus is on growth investments in software and internet businesses. Prior to Insight Venture Partners, Jeff Horing served as a key member of the technology investing team at E.M. Warburg, Pincus & Co. His experience also includes work with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Capital Markets group.

Jeff Horing earned dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Moore School of Engineering and Wharton School. He graduated with high honors and was Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. His current areas of focus include; online gaming, mobile, data, infrastructure and internet software. He is a former member of the board of directors of Airborne Entertainment, CTSpace, Beechwood Data Systems, Greenfield Online, Hitwise, IAG Research, Promira Software, Xchange, and SLP Infoware. He currently serves on the board of directors of Datacore Software, GFI, SolarWinds, Teamviewer, Jagex Ltd, and Shunra Software.
